The short version: we keep what an order needs, and we don't sell any of it.
What we hold
- Your name — so the bar can call your drink.
- Your phone number, if you gave it — to send a sign-in code you requested, a receipt you asked to receive, and a message when your order is ready.
- Your email address, only if you typed one in — and only to send you shop news you asked for, like a seasonal menu. It is never used for sign-in codes, receipts or order-ready messages; those go to your phone. Giving it is not a condition of buying anything, you can delete it from the app whenever you like, and every email we ever send will have an unsubscribe link in it.
- Your orders — what you bought and when.
What we never hold
Card numbers. Payments run through Stripe and your card details never reach our systems at all.
Who we share it with
Nobody, for money. We use Stripe to take payments and a messaging provider to send texts, and they only ever see what they need to do that job. We do not sell or rent your details.
Getting rid of it
Email Info@thesaucycup.com and we'll delete your account and your details — or delete it yourself in the app, which takes your phone number and your email address with it. You can also remove just the email address, from the Notifications screen, and keep the account. One exception: we keep the record of what you agreed to be texted or emailed, because that record is what proves we only ever contacted people who asked.
