We text you about orders you place and sign-ins you ask for. Nothing else, and nothing recurring.
The two places we ask for your number
1 · Signing in
A customer types their mobile number into the app's sign-in screen and taps Send my code. Asking for a code is the request to be sent one; we send one code and nothing else.
This is the live form — the same one inside our app, shown here on its own so it can be read and used in one piece.
2 · Ordering
The same box appears again when a customer orders — in our app, or on the screen facing them at our counter. It is never ticked for them, and it applies to that one order.
Saucy Cup order-ready texts. We'll text you once when this order is ready only if you tick this box. Msg frequency is one message per order, nothing recurring. Optional — you can order without it. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help, STOP to cancel. See our SMS terms and Privacy Policy.
What we send, and nothing else
- A sign-in code, once, when you ask for one.
- Your receipt, for an order you just paid for, if you ticked the box.
- One message when your order is ready, if you ticked that box — sent when a barista marks your drink made, never on a timer.
These are one-off messages about something you did. There is no list, no schedule, and nothing recurring. If you never order again you never hear from us.
The details a carrier asks for
- Who: The Saucy Cup (Saucy Cup EWP LLC), 301 Riverfront Boulevard, Suite 05, Elmwood Park, NJ 07407
- Message frequency: only in response to something you did — typically one to three messages per order
- Cost: we charge nothing. Msg & data rates may apply.
- To stop: reply STOP to any message
- For help: reply HELP, or email Info@thesaucycup.com
- We never sell or share your number. See the Privacy Policy.
STOP stops everything from this number
We send from one number, so replying STOP tells your carrier to block all of it — your receipt and your order-ready message included. That is how the phone network works and we cannot override it. Reply START to turn them back on. Full detail on the SMS program terms page.
